Supportive Together
How can K-12 schools across Virginia approach suicide prevention in a collaborative and hopeful way? The Campus Suicide Prevention Center of Virginia at James Madison University invited Journey Group into this challenge. Working with the Center, Journey Group created a name, visual identity, and website for a new initiative to equip Virginia school administrators and staff. The newly named Supportive Together presents an identity system that expresses the three phases of suicide prevention with color, motion, and warmth to communicate how supportive schools can work together to help students. Informed by content design and strategy, we then designed and developed an intuitive, approachable website to meet school administrators where they are and equip them with the tools to succeed in their communities.
