Journey Group
was founded in 1992 by two magazine guys with a simple goal: Do great work and be nice to people. The idea was to come alongside clients who do work that matters, and help them tell their stories. From the start, our craft brought 21st-century tools to the cave painter’s mission — tell brand stories with images. Here’s the good news: It’s still about that. What changes, it turns out, is the toolkit.

After decades of partnership, Phil and Greg still have their vision, their friendship and their sanity.

From two guys
doing magazines, we’ve grown to a team of two dozen publishing on every possible platform. We do paper and pixels. Books and websites, annual reports, strategic consulting, brand development and videos. We’ve even designed three-dimensional spaces. Whatever it takes to tell your story.

As an employee-owned company, the team never misses an opportunity to get together and celebrate their success.

And this public
technological revolution has been accompanied by a private cultural one: both new team members and old pushing for new kinds of thinking, new tools for the kit — new ways to both inform and invigorate.

Amid this vast
new array of media channels and choices, of technical and cultural revolutions, our essential goal has never been more important: Tell stories that matter.

The “ski lodge” — affectionately named for the high, wood-beamed ceiling — is a hot spot for brainstorming or collaborating.

As our name implies,
Journey Group embarks with our clients on a voyage toward the clear communication of vital truths. Destinations vary, but our essential commitments do not. We seek to influence a skeptical world, to inform a questioning world, to invigorate an apathetic world. We seek to do the best work in the world for the best reason in the world — a journey that does not end.
